As our Sales and Marketing Manager, you’ll be the commercial face of the Hello Registry platform. You’ll be actively engaged in building up a network of potential clients, partners, intermediaries and resellers.

Your role

SIDN has been operating the .nl domain and promoting a secure and reliable internet for more than 25 years. Now, we’re launching something new: the Hello Registry platform. This innovative SaaS platform is a comprehensive domain management solution for registries all over the world. And we’ve got big ambitions. And that's where you come in.

As our Sales and Marketing Manager, you’ll be the commercial face of the Hello Registry platform. You’ll be actively engaged in building up a network of potential clients, partners, intermediaries and resellers. That’ll mean having the ability to communicate SIDN’s vision convincingly. You’ll identify market developments, translate them into opportunities and oversee the entire pathways from lead identification to successful migration. Working with our international partner CIRA’s commercial team, you’ll be tasked with achieving sustainable growth and customer satisfaction.

Your role:

  • Improving the visibility and position of the Hello Registry platform

  • Identifying and exploiting commercial opportunities within registry and domain world

  • Maintaining relations with partners, intermediaries and resellers

  • Overseeing RFIs and RFPs from first contact to successful conversion

  • Representing SIDN at (international) events and acting as thought leader in the domain name industry

  • Combining strategic insight with a hands-on approach to sales and marketing

Your skills

  • Demonstrable experience with SaaS solutions or software products

  • Experience with complex, long sales processes and consultative selling

  • Background in senior sales or account management, preferably within IT or digital services

  • Knowledge of or affinity with the domain name or registry world is desirable

  • Strong analytical ability and skill determining customer requirements

  • Patience, result-focused team ethos combined with ability to listen, unite and persuade

  • Good oral and written command of both Dutch and English With those skills, you’re the person who can put Hello Registry on the global map.

Pay and other benefits

  • Gross monthly salary of up to €6,500, depending on professional experience;

  • Holiday pay of 8 per cent, plus a thirteenth salary payment;

  • A variable collective bonus of up to 4 per cent;

  • A basic holiday allowance of 25 days, plus scope for building up to 13 days' occasional leave entitlement, if you work full time. Opportunity to buy up to one basic working week of additional leave each calendar year;

  • A pension with ABP;

  • An electric lease car;

  • A business rail card if you travel by public transport

  • A daily home working allowance for every day that you work from home

  • A complete, healthy home workstation

  • €55 a month (net) for your home broadband

  • €25 a month (gross) contribution to your health insurance

  • Additional parenthood leave on full pay

  • An optional cycle lease scheme, where SIDN covers 50 per cent of the lease cost, up to a maximum of €60 (gross) per month

  • €500 a year to donate to a good cause of your choice

  • Your own .nl domain name and hosting package

  • Ample education and training opportunities

  • Professional coaching and budget coaching

  • A relocation allowance if taking the job means moving house

Everything above is for a full-time role (40-hour week).

The selection procedure includes screening, which involves obtaining a Certificate of Good Behaviour (similar to a criminal record check), and performing reference and integrity checks.
