Who is the session for?
Are you an ICT policy-maker at a municipal authority? There's a warm welcome awaiting you at SIDN's offices in Arnhem. Our knowledge session is designed to provide people like you with all the technical information you need about the most important open internet standards. The emphasis is on practical implementation: what's the best way to proceed?
We have put together an interesting programme, with particular emphasis on the risks associated with unsecured e-mail and internet use. How can the available standards improve your security? We describe a best practice case in each field.
- KING's DMARC pilot at thirty municipalities. What are the main findings and outcomes?
- Govroam: secure wi-fi access for staff and visitors. How can you arrange it for your municipality?
- DNSSEC: the importance of signing your domain name and setting up DNSSEC validation. DNSSEC prevents internet traffic being misdirected to fake websites.
When and where?
The knowledge session takes place on 12 May, at Meander 501, Arnhem, the Netherlands. We'll be starting at 13:30 and bringing the main programme to a close at 16:30. After that, refreshments will be served, and you'll have the opportunity to mingle with colleagues from other municipalities.
